Thanksgiving

Madelyn is well on her way to becoming a big girl. She can now hold her head up and sit in the Bumbo chair and play with toys.

This was the first year of the Kocmit Thanksgiving. With mom's help...we made the turkey and it came out great! (getting hungry? or did you eat too much last week?)

Dad and Wally were testing out my new camera so they wanted to try some shots of the dog.....

"I'm Stuffed" was right!

We had a great time with lots of food, both sides of the family and friends. We played some games, had a few cocktails and a nice holiday was had by all! We'll do it again next year!

Madelyn Gets Baptized

Madelyn is quite the social butterfly these days. She is getting stronger and more vocal as the weeks go on. Such a ham for the camera too! She can now hold her own head up and sit in her Bumbo chair.

This past Sunday the 22nd we had Madelyn baptized. The whole family ventured to St. Columbkille for noon mass and then she was the only baby to be baptized right after. The Godparents are Ken and Mary Ratkosky (friends of ours and co-worker of Michael’s). She slept through most of the ceremony but managed to wake up for the water, which she liked and then needed to stretch as the priest was pouring it on her head.

All done!

After church she had fun with some family and friends.

We had a nice lunch and dessert after and she had a great time. She is now prepping for Thanksgiving and Christmas! Oh boy!

November

No real big updates this week. Madelyn is doing much better looking to her left side and stretching out her neck. We go for her second physical therapy appointment this week so we will see if the stretching and her just her doing more on that side is helping.
She is enjoying herself and is babbling more. She grabs things now and is also getting good at keeping her head up while on her stomach.
Here are some new pictures for the week!

Gavin is always checking her out

Sleepy baby

She likes to eat her hands

Must have been something good on the floor that they both wanted to see.

I just like how Smokey's tongue is in this picture.

Oh the pouty face.....

Happy Halloween

Madleyn's First Halloween!
She had quite a fun first Halloween. She dressed in her fun Halloween shirt, tuumy time, took a nap then it was party time!

She fell asleep before the fun even started! She dressed as a money.

She woke up for a few minutes to take picutes with Aunt Jamie right before trick or treating started.

As you can tell she wasn't as excited as we were....

Ana (ladybug) and Ava (dalmation) had a ball in the wagon as Uncle Mike pulled it. (Notice the trailor of adult "treats").

Her extra layor of Money cuteness since it was chilly out.

She slept all of trick or treating except one house. We all had fun though. Thanks to the Pinter's for hosting Halloween for everyone! I have more pictures.... but too many to post!

2 Months!

Last week Madelyn tunred 2 Months! Her 2 month check-up went well. She weighs 10lbs 9.5 oz, height is 23.25 inches. She is getting tall!

She received 3 shots and one oral vaccine. She was not a happy camper during the shots, but she was fine soon after and was good the rest of the day. Doctor says she is very alert and social for her age. She has to go for physical therapy next week due to her favoring her right side. Her head is a tad flat on that side. She is doing better since she has more head control as of the past week and a half, but we all want to be safe so we will see what they say next week.

She is a little ham these days! Here are some fun pictures:

Her in her bunny slippers! (from Great Aunt Cheryl and Great Uncle Robert Holewinski)

She likes her monkey shirts

I did a mini photo shoot with Madelyn outside this past week, here are two fun pictures from it. I have to edit the rest and put them up this week.

She is catching flies. She is too funny when she sleeps.

She has been having lots of fun with the dogs. Gavin has given up and is now realizing he will be a toy for her for many years to come.

She is changing by the week! More fun pictures and a video to come tonight/tomorrow! I have to organize all the pictures and stuff.

October begins

October has begun! This week was full of fun. Madelyn got to meet her Great Grandma (on the Holewinski side). She loved her!

We spent Friday putting up some Halloween decorations then went to a Tastefully Simple party with all the girls.

The ever so popular "Face Ripper". I did not press the button as it would scare the child! But it is pretty cool!

Miss Madelyn in her cute Halloween outfit from Grandma (Tina). It says "So cute it's scary"

Obviously the dogs were no help this weekend. Napped as usual.

More photos to come! Stay warm (us Ohioians).
