1st Zoo Trip

This past weekend Madelyn had her first trip to the zoo. Mike bought us a Zoo/Rainforest pass for the year so we thought we'd get out of the house and see some sights! She looked at some of the stuff in the Rainforest, then took a nap, then we bundled her up and ventured into the zoo where she had some fun. We all got some fresh air and had a nice time.

She finally got to sit forward facing and look at all the animals and people. And her new obsession is licking everything.... as you can see.

The lions were snuggling together, he was tired.

The wolves were out and running around so we didn't get good pictures. She thought they were Smokey!

She didn't know what to make of the viewing area for the wolves.

The tigers were out and looking for the warm weather.

Mr. Polar Bear was all alone in his area. He looked like he needed a bath!

Ken, Mary and Ana joined in the fun and Ana enjoyed looking at the Sea Lions.
Madelyn and Dad saw some cool animals at the zoo (the ones that were out in the cold).
Our first family outing was a success! More Zoo and Rainforest trips to come. Get out of the house and see the fun things the zoo puts up this year, and also get some exercise!!
