I've been Missing In Action for a bit! Lots going on, but I promise to update some pictures and events this weekend now that things are calmed down (for the weekend).

Lots of baby showers, weddings and small projects in between.

Madelyn is about a week away from walking (look out world!), now says "cracker" and "hot dog". Well... kind of!

Beach Baby

We all enjoyed a nice long holiday weekend at the lake. Madelyn took her first swim and had her first taste (literally) of being on the beach.

Here are just a few of my favorites from our makeshift "photoshoot" on the beach with the help from John and Alex.

I have been busy doing projects and hope to get that blog up and running soon. It's been a busy May. And it will be an even busier June!

We're back

It's been a few weeks since I posted last! Sorry!

I have been busy with many projects, but I am catching up on putting some pictures out there.

We had a nice night with Jamie, Ava, Kim and Ethan last weekend. Ethan enjoyed trying to make the girls laugh. Then we managed to get them all to pose for pictures!!!

Next we put Madelyn in her toy basket and told her to say "cheese". Well she actually did! Twice! 

We will never hear that again for awhile I'm sure.

She is beginning to try and crawl. Although she prefers to stand.

She loves her TV. Nickelodean is her favorite and last night I could not pry her eyes off that thing!

Too funny! We are heading into the beginning of summer! Many more pictures to come. 9 months is this weekend!! I hope to take some 9 month pictures this and next weekend.

Kristen's Baby Shower

On Saturday we ventured to Highland Heights for Kristen's (my cousin) baby shower. It was a green and brown monkey themed shower. The food was great, the favors were tasty and she received many wonderful gifts for the baby. She is due in June and we can't wait to meet him. Here are some images from the shower.

Madelyn is breaking new ground these days!
She is skipping the whole crawling milestone and moving right to standing and soon walking. She can almost pull herself up on her own and she can stand while holding something pretty darn good!

March for Babies

The March of Dimes walk was this past Sunday. The weather forecast was calling for major rain so we told all our supporters to stay home and we were going to leave the kids home due to the weather.
Well, it turned out to be a great morning. Jamie and I went downtown to turn in our money and check things out.
I managed to raise $430 for the March of Dimes with all of your help!!!!!!!!! (That includes the raffle tickets sold)
Thank you to everyone who donated. Jamie and I will be helping the cause again next year with a bigger and better campaign! (And better planning for the day of the walk)
