Photo Shoot!

Today Madelyn had a fun photo shoot. We figured since she has some hair now and it's been 6 months, she needed some new photos. It will take a bit to edit the photos and make them Picture Perfect. But here are a few funny ones to tide you over!

"You are making me do what???"

"I'm a model....I don't eat Goldfish!"

I even had to sit in for some....but she wouldn't look at the camera. I think my belly takes up half the picture!

"Cheese!" "Yes, Bunnies like cheese!"

More to come- the good ones. We managed to get a few in the short time she would stand in one area. Not as easy as 3, 6 or even 12 months!

Crazy Crazy Girl

Madelyn has grown to be quite the entertainer. Here is her spinning and spinning. I missed the part where she kept doing it and falling in the middle of the floor. I'll catch it on video one of these days!

This was the first time Madelyn has repeated something silly I've said. I was telling her to "shake your booty" then she repeated it and it was so funny. I tried to get her to say it on camera but it didn't work so well.... here is what it came out like. (If you get dizzy easily beware!)

Madelyn now can say most of the animals and knows what sounds they make. She can count to three!!
She can count higher but skips 5 for some reason...... we are working on that!
Today marks Madelyn's half birthday! She is growing like a weed and is the best thing to happen to us!

Mmmmm cake!

We had a nice dinner at Cozumels to celebrate Ana's 3rd birthday. There was cake involved and I thought these pictures were funny and wanted to share.

Madelyn's First Batch of Cookies

Oh Uncle Wally would be proud!! Madelyn and I made our first batch of Chocolate Chip cookies together this past weekend. Here is the play-by-play.

"Mmmmm this batter tastes great!"

"I think I just need a final taste....just in case"

"Yep, just right!"

"The beaters are the best part!"

Now onto the final product that was hidden in the new cookie jar..

 

OOOO cookies!!

"I love chocolate"

"Maybe just one more!"

"Ok, ok...I'll put it back"

It was a fun time to bake together! Next time, cupcakes!!!

Baby K 2.0's First Pictures

This little person was not so cooperative during the ultrasound. They waved once or twice, but was tucked into a ball most of the time so we only got about 2 different shots. The second is creepy since the eye is open. I got that one for Kate since she is weirded out by the whole thing in general!

So far the ultrasound tech said everything is A-ok. So far so good and 19 weeks left to go......



Merry Christmas
